My first Film

LADKIYAAN


Here is my first attempt at film making. Making it was a learning experience. This film is not that good technically but is close to my heart as it is the first one. I'm sorry for the poor quality of sound and other issues with it but i still want you to spare 17 minutes from your busy schedule.  :)

  नवंबर सात मैं अपनी मेज़ पर हूँ , मेरा बदन इस वक़्त न जाने कितने अहसासों का पुतला है . जुनून , ख्वाहिश , तलब . छोटा पुराना स्पीकर एक रोमानी गाना बजा रहा है — अपनी जड़ों से बिछड़े , एक अनजान सफ़र में भटकते , मगर हर एक लमहे को अपनी जान के आख़िरी क़तरे की तड़प के साथ जीते हुए लोगों का गीत . अभी कुछ देर पहले मैंने लिखा कि मैं चाहती हूँ कि मैं किसी के ( मज़बूत मगर नर्म ) इख़्तियार में रहूँ . अकेले और आज़ाद होने की थकन बढ़ती जा रही है . ये बहुत औरताना ज़रूरत है . मैं देख रहूी हूँ कि मेरा लिखा किसी तर्जुमे जैसे मालूम होता है . सच भी है . मैं जिस भाषा में पढ़ रही हूँ , उसी भाषा में महसूस कर रही हूँ . मेरी कोई भाषा ही नहीं . जिसने माँ न देखी हो उसकी मादरी ज़बान कोई हो सकती है क्या ? मैं इन रोमानियों के क़ाफ़िलों से जुड़ाव महसूस करती हूँ . पिछले पैरा की पहली दो बातें मैंने अंग्रेज़ी में लिखीं . फिर उन्हीं दो बातों को हिंदी में लिखा . आसान नहीं लगा

ग्रेगोरियन कैलेंडर के हिसाब से साल 2021 का आखिरी दिन

  ग्रेगोरियन कैलेंडर के हिसाब से साल 2021 का आखिरी दिन। तुम्हारे लिए एक प्रार्थना। सौंदर्य और खुशी तुम्हारी आँखें चूमें। तस्वीर में ज़ूव है, जो बहुत कम समय के लिए इस साल जीवन का हिस्सा रही साल के अंतिम दिन सोकर जागते ही आँखों ने यह प्रार्थना पढ़ी. भोपाल की कोलार रोड की पहाड़ियों पर धुँध के बीच मद्धम चमकते सूरज की रौशनी और सुनहरी हो गई. सुनहरी और ट्रांसलुसेंट, वैसी रौशनी जैसी सिनेमा में किसी दिव्य घटना की साक्षी होती है. प्रार्थनाएँ दिव्य होती ही हैं. कल रात देर तक मैं और वी ईश्वर के अस्तित्व के बारे में बात करते रहे. उसका कहना था कि हमें ईश्वर के अस्तित्व को नकार देना चाहिए क्योंकि ईश्वर का इस्तेमाल करके हमें बरगलाना और हमारा इस्तेमाल करना बहुत आसान हो जाता है. वो धर्म और आध्यात्म जैसे शब्दों से बहुत नाराज़ थी. उसका कहना था कि अगर ईश्वर, मानव जैसी कोई संरचना है जो अपनी इच्छा से कुछ भी कर सकता है, तो वह एक शैतान बच्चा है जो हमारे साथ खेल-खेल रहा है.  धर्म की किताबों पर जाएं, तो वहाँ उस शैतान बच्चे का भी ज़िक्र है जो मुट्ठी भर-भर कर ब्रह्मांडों को बनाता और मिटाता रहता है. ऐसे में हम, हमा
